CAMERON LITTLE


SPORTS & EXERCISE PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Cameron is an Australia Physiotherapy Association-titled Physiotherapist with over a decade of experience across a range of fields, including chronic pain, disability, injury management, musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy. Cameron founded Best Physiotherapy with the goal to help people live happier and healthier.

  • EXPERIENCE: Cameron graduated from La Trobe University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy. Cameron completed further study in 2016, completing a Masters of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at Curtin University, and was then accredited the APA Sports Physiotherapy Title. Cameron’s career highlights include working as a sports physiotherapist for the Chinese Olympic Diving Team and working with professional tennis players on the ATP and WTA tours.

    CLINICAL INTERESTS: Cameron is currently a PHD candidate at Curtin university and is researching the bio-psycho-social effects of traumatic knee injuries. He has publications within the neurological, chronic pain and musculoskeletal fields.

    HOBBIES: Cameron is an avid tennis player, loves snowboarding and can be found cycling along Beach road every Sunday.


SHAELEY KLEMKE


SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Shaeley is a dedicated, compassionate physiotherapist with over a decade of experience across a range of complex presentations and settings, including remote communities, hospitals and aged care. With a passion for exercise and yoga, Shaeley draws on various wellness techniques to help her participants live more comfortably and improve their quality of life.

  • EXPERIENCE: Shae graduated from La Trobe University in 2013, with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Physiotherapy. Her clinical experience includes working in the ICU, as well as acute surgical and medical settings in regional Victoria. Shae also completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2021, and since then, has been combining her knowledge of physiotherapy and yoga to offer unique support to her clients.

    CLINICAL INTERESTS: Shae’s clinical interests are grounded in musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, along with supporting people with chronic pain and chronic states of stress. Shae has a special interest in offering 1:1 clinical pilates and yoga sessions, along with group sessions.

    HOBBIES: As well as yoga and meditation, Shae enjoys hiking, reading, bouldering, long baths, van adventures into nature, crocheting, travelling, attending live music events and being an unofficial aunty to her friends’ kids.

SHRUTI DUA

MUSCULOSKELETAL &
EXERCISE PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Shruti is an APA-titled Musculoskeletal & Exercise Physiotherapist with a broad range of experience and skills, including manual therapy, taping, clinical pilates, dry needling and exercise prescription. Shruti believes in empowering her clients with the programs and skills to help them move out of pain and into a better quality of life.

  • EXPERIENCE: Shruti graduated as a physiotherapist in India before moving to Australia. More recently she completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2019. Since then, Shruti has worked in various settings, including hospitals, private practice and in the community

    CLINICAL INTERESTS: Shruti’s clinical interests include the management of vertigo disorders, Temporomandibular joint dysfunctions, post-operative rehab, and shoulder and knee pains.

    HOBBIES: Shruti enjoys painting on canvas, exploring Victoria, watching sci-fi movies and listening to Bollywood tunes.

SCOTT THOMPSON


SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Scott is a highly experienced and passionate physiotherapist who has worked in Australia’s community, clinic and hospital settings, and abroad. He has developed a versatile skillset for treating a wide range of conditions and is dedicated to helping his clients live safely and comfortably, whether through post-surgical rehabilitation or chronic pain treatment.

  • EXPERIENCE: Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University in 2017. Scott commenced working at Bendigo Health working in spinal clinics, orthopaedics and rehabilitation departments. He then worked for 3 years in London in outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Scott also works casually at Alfred Health in the orthopaedic physiotherapy team.

    CLINICAL INTERESTS: Scott has a particular interest in treating spinal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain and tendinopathies.

    HOBBIES: Scott enjoys cooking, exploring the live music scene, and travelling. He has adventured to 36 countries and counting!

JO-ANNE RULE


PRACTICE MANAGER

Jo brings over 20 years of management experience to Best Physiotherapy. As practice manager, her skills take many forms, from communication and relationship management to business development. Her dedication to delivering an exceptional level of care and maintaining a safe, smooth-running practice is second to none.

  • EXPERIENCE: Jo has worked with various Allied Health teams, Child and Adolescent Community Health centres and Public Hospitals. She has worked in two hospitals, including Royal Melbourne Hospital and one in a remote Aboriginal Community in Western Australia. With a diploma in Community Services and over 20 years of administration experience, Jo brings a plethora of skills and experience to her role.

    HOBBIES: Jo loves renovating, travelling and wine-tasting. She is the proud and loving Meme to four gorgeous grandkids.

JEHAN ABEYSEKERA

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH / THERAPY ASSISTANT

Jehan is a dedicated strength and conditioning coach with an extraordinary amount of knowledge and years of experience working with people of all abilities. From those living with a disability to elite athletes, Jehan helps his clients reach their physical goals in the friendliest and most compassionate way possible.

  • EXPERIENCE: Jehan has over a decade of industry experience and has worked with people of various abilities. He has been coach to the most successful Chinese Olympic weightlifting team ever, and has also been the strength and conditioning coach to Melbourne Storm and Geelong Football club.

    CLINICAL INTERESTS: Jehan’s clinical interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation and exploring the benefits of exercise programming in improving strength and endurance, resulting in greater mobility, independence and freedom.

    HOBBIES: Jehan enjoys being out in nature, riding his motorbike, and gong to live music gigs.
